SKT fined KRW1.5 billion

The South Korean government has fined SK Telecom (SKT) KRW1.5 billion (USD1.4 million) for discriminating against other internet portal companies by not opening up its wireless network. The government ordered SKT, as well as rival cellcos KTF and LG Telecom, to open up their wireless networks to internet portals and other companies earlier this year.
