Novatel Wireless and Siemens team up for HSDPA trials

San Diego-based Novatel Wireless, a leading provider of wireless broadband access solutions for the worldwide mobile communications market, has teamed up with Siemens Communications to jointly develop solutions for High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) systems, a so-called 3.5G technology. According to Telecompaper, the German vendor will deliver HSDPA equipment and Novatel Wireless will act as the preferred partner for the associated PC cards on a worldwide basis.
