COLT offers SWIFTNet users a swifter network connection

UK-based corporate communications provider COLT Telecom has launched DSL access for the SWIFT Network (SWIFTNet) community of financial institutions. The service is an extension of COLT’s existing portfolio of products for SWIFTNet users, approximately 30% of whom still use dial-up connections. SWIFTNet’s secure IP network connects 7,800 small and medium level financial institutions.
