Movistar expects 20,000 SMEs to push-to-talk

Mobile operator Movistar Chile says it is aiming to sign up 20,000 business users of its new push-to-talk-over-cellular (PoC) service within the first twelve months of operation. The service, the first of its kind in Chile, was launched last month over Movistar's GSM network and offers roaming in neighbouring Argentina free of charge for a promotional period. PoC is mainly being marketed at corporations and SMEs and claims to offer significant cost savings for companies compared to regular mobile services.
