Regulator orders big three to cut prices

Italian regulator AGCOM yesterday ruled that the mobile market’s three incumbents – Telecom Italia Mobile, Vodafone Italy and Wind – must cut their call charges to fixed lines by 20% from 1 September. The ruling is aimed at bringing the country’s mobile tariffs in line with the rest of Europe. H3G Italia has been excluded from the decision.
