Chilean telco Grupo GTD has launched a CLP14.5 billion (USD25 million) bid for rival operator Manquehue Net, subject to a due diligence study scheduled to start within the next two weeks. Manquehue Net, which provides a range of corporate telephony services, has debts of USD85 million which GTD says it will renegotiate with creditors.
