LG and DoCoMo join forces to develop handset

LG Electronics has teamed up with Japan’s largest cellco NTT DoCoMo to jointly develop a 3G FOMA handset. The dual-mode phone – to be launched in Q2 2006 – will be compatible with both DoCoMo’s W-CDMA and GSM/GPRS networks.
