BeST selects potential suppliers for GSM rollout

Belarusian state-owned newcomer Belarusian Network of Telecommunications (BeST) has contracted equipment vendors ZTE Corporation, Huawei Technologies, Siemens, Ericsson International and Alcatel Trade International to bid for a contract to supply equipment, software and services for the cellco’s GSM900/1800 network. The winning bidder will be announced in early June.
