Saudi firm to launch Kingdom’s first MMS service

Saudi Telecom Company, which offers GSM services under the AlJawal brand, has signed a deal with Nokia for the delivery of a multimedia messaging service (MMS) solution. Deliveries have already begun and the operator plans to launch the new service - a first for Saudi Arabia - by mid-2005.
