Start-up MVNO signs handset supply deal

Handset manufacturer Emblaze Mobile has signed an agreement with UK MVNO start-up ROK Mobile for the exclusive supply of mobile handsets to the operator over the next three years. The USD150 million deal will see Emblaze provide ROK with branded handsets ready for an expected commercial launch in August this year. ROK Mobile, a subsidiary of mobile entertainment developer ROK Entertainment, hopes to sign up 250,000 UK subscribers in its first twelve months of operation, rising to a million within three years.
