Unifón enjoys strong growth

Argentine cellco Unifón’s customer base reached 3.4 million by the end of 2004, an increase of 1.5 million, or 85%, on the previous year. Unifón, a local arm of Spain’s Telefónica Móviles, claims that its post-paid customers are also on the increase, making up 37% of the year-end total.
