MTN upgrades billing system

South Africa-based mobile operator MTN has signed a USD15 million deal with Intec Telecom Systems for the supply of a new customer billing system, to handle the accounts of its 7.7 million-strong subscriber base. The vendor will install its Singl.eView software, which it claims will allow the cellco to bring new services to the market more quickly.
