OMRON launches facial recognition technology

Japanese mobile phone maker OMRON Corp has launched its ‘OKAO Vision Face recognition Sensor’, which has the ability to recognise and verify the user through face recognition. The technology can be implemented in mobile camera phones or other wireless devices with a camera, and will help contribute to higher security for mobile customers.
