CTC tries to capture budget broadband market

Chilean incumbent telco Telefónica CTC Chile has launched a new ADSL broadband service offering low-cost internet access at weekends and evenings. The package, called Speedy Night & Weekend and priced lower than CTC’s previous ADSL offerings, is aimed at professionals and students who previously did not sign up to a broadband deal because they would not need the dedicated line service during the daytime and were unwilling to pay the cost.
