Nokia handsets pushed off number one slot

According to British mobile phone retailers, NEC’s 616 clamshell handset was the most popular mobile phone on pre-paid tariffs in the Christmas rush, while LG of Korea captured the number one slot in the contract market with its 8120 folding videophone. Nokia retained its market leading position at the cheaper end of the market with three of the five best-selling phones, according to The Link.
