Fixed and mobile markets see strong growth

According to a report by the Arab Advisors Group, the Palestinian telecoms markets have seen strong growth during the first nine months of 2004, despite the country’s ailing economic situation. At the end of September the number of fixed lines in service stood at 332,515, translating to a penetration rate of 8.8%, while the country’s total mobile customer base reached 850,000.
