More opt to cut the cord

New research from Instat/MDR shows that approximately 14.4% of US consumers currently use wireless handsets as their primary telephone, thanks to increasingly attractive wireless packages and improved network reliability. Furthermore, almost one third of all US wireless subscribers are expected to have ditched their residential landlines by 2008.
