3G on the cards for AT&T Wireless

US cellco AT&T Wireless has revealed plans to launch commercial 3G services by the end of 2004, with sources close to the company indicating that this could happen as early as next week. The company plans to offer two 3G handsets, provided by Nokia and Motorola.
