China Mobile to begin TD-LTE trials next year

China Mobile will begin large-scale outdoor TD-LTE trials in 2010, according to Marbridge Consulting which cites Ding Haiyu, deputy director of China Mobile Research Institute's wireless division. Speaking at a research forum on wireless technology's effects on mobile internet, Ding also revealed that China Mobile will deploy 15 TD-LTE base stations at next year's Shanghai 2010 World Expo.
