Kuwait halts share trading in Kipco and National Mobile Telecom

Kuwait’s stock exchange has stopped share trading in Kuwait Projects (Kipco) and National Mobile Telecom (NMT), after it emerged that Kipco was looking to either sell its stake in NMT to another shareholder or buy the stake in the cellco held by the other shareholder. The suspension of trading will last until Sunday.
