VINA-OFC delivers fibre-optic cables to Cubatel

Vietnamese telecoms company Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications (VNPT) has announced that VINA-OFC, its joint venture cable company with Korea's LG Cable, has signed a cable production and export agreement contract with Sociedad Cubana para las Telecomunicaciones (Cubatel). Under the contract, which is VINA-OFCS’s first export deal to Cuba, the company will provide 50km of international-standard fibre-optic cables to Cubatel. Cubatel was founded in 1996 and specializes in the configuration, installation, commissioning and technical support of digital technological switching systems and voice, data and video signals transmission.
