Bouygues selects Teradata for enterprise data warehouse platform

French mobile operator Bouygues Telecom has picked Teradata to supply it with a real-time enterprise data warehouse, TMCnet reports. The new system uses customer information to support marketing, sales, finance, fraud and insurance revenue processes, officials from the two companies say. Bouygues’ new data warehouse will focus on providing high-level business information to aid with strategic decision-making, as well as meeting the need for real-time business information to support its day-to-day operations.
