MetroPCS selects Amdocs customer services solution

US wireless operator MetroPCS has signed a six-year managed services agreement with Amdocs covering billing, operational support systems (OSS) and customer care products. Amdocs will provide solutions which form part of its Customer Experience Systems (CES) 7.5 suite of products. The financial terms were not disclosed. MetroPCS offers flat-rate unlimited calling plans in a number of major US markets, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit and Miami, and had attracted 4.85 million subscribers by the end of September according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms database.
