Privatisation agency unable to identify holders of 10% stake in BH Telecom

According to Limun.hr, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) Privatisation Agency is currently unable to identify the owners of the 10% stake in operator BH Telecom that the government does not hold; the revelation comes as the privatisation process for telcos BH Telecom and HT Mostar continues to meet with delays. The 10% stake was sold in 2001, and the director of the FBiH privatisation agency, Enes Ganic, said, ‘The agency carried out that privatisation transaction in 2001 on the basis of a government decision, and I can’t say what happened to that capital afterwards.’ FBiH member of parliament Anto Colak has reportedly announced that a lawsuit will be filed against the FBiH Securities Commission for verifying the sales.
