Sunday Communications has contracted Chinese equipment vendor Huawei Technologies to supply equipment and finance for the rollout of its 3G wireless service. The deal is expected to be worth between HKD850 million and HKD900 million. The exact services and equipment to be supplied have yet to be determined but the network is expected to be ready for Sunday to launch services in the last quarter of 2004.
