Optima Telekom second-quarter sales up 59.3%

Croatia’s largest alternative telco by turnover Optima Telekom has reported a 40.8% year-on-year rise in first-half revenues to HRK224.6 million (USD48.6 million). Year-on-year revenue growth accelerated in the second quarter, with sales climbing by 59.3% in the three months ended 30 June 2008, although quarterly net profit fell by 11% to HRK57.7 million.
