Ofcom outlines plans for super-fast broadband

The UK communications regulator Ofcom has announced that it aims to set out details of the regulatory framework for super-fast broadband in September this year. It has also highlighted the need for an investment framework for these services revealing plans for hosting working sessions for companies, focused on practical action, to take place in the near future. ‘We need to bring industry together to debate and resolve some critical issues. Ofcom will provide an important forum for debating and resolving these key issues with industry,’ said Ofcom Chief Executive Ed Richards.
