Vodafone Germany and Arcor to combine management

Telecompaper reports that Vodafone Germany and fixed line operator Arcor will merge their executive management structures from 1 August 2008. The companies hope the move will produce an integrated communications service provider offering products from a portfolio that includes mobile, fixed, data and internet services. Operations in Germany generate revenues of approximately EUR10 billion (USD15.7 billion) each year for parent company Vodafone Group.
