Meo rising fast

Portugal Telecom’s (PT) new Meo pay-TV service has reached 100,000 subscribers since its launch in April, with Meo subscribers now accounting for 15% of ADSL customers. PT reported over 53,000 new additions in the second quarter of 2008 alone. Meo broadcasts through a satellite network and also through IPTV, in conjunction with a triple-play offer of internet, fixed line voice services and television.
