Ericsson completes Wind upgrade

Ericsson has completed a project to upgrade and expand Greek cellco Wind Hellas's core GSM/W-CDMA network, the Swedish vendor announced in a press release. Ericsson provided a turnkey solution including network design and deployment, equipment supply, systems integration and migration to the new infrastructure, and was also responsible for network and business support systems, to ensure a seamless transition and cope with rising traffic levels, the release continued.
