Mobily outsources network operations

Saudi cellular operator Mobily has signed a three-year outsourcing deal with Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson and Huawei under which the vendors will manage, operate and maintain its mobile networks. Mobily says the deal is expected to reduce its annual operating costs by up to 20%, the Kuwait Times reports.
