Alcatel provides wireless broadband solution for Airdata

German fixed line operator Airdata has contracted Alcatel to provide a turnkey solution for the wireless broadband coverage of ‘hot zones’ in the Stuttgart region. The technology will be based on TD-CDMA and will provide users with download speeds of 768kbps and uploads of 128kbps.
