HP to double telecoms sales by 2006

Hewlett-Packard says it plans to double its revenues from the telecoms sector to USD12 billion per annum within three years. The company made the announcement at the launch of around a dozen new communications-based products and services earlier this week. The company’s new offerings include location-based services and the creation of new Wi-Fi local area networks.
