Cisco buys into WiMAX sector

The WiMAX equipment manufacturer Navini Networks is being acquired by Cisco Systems in a USD330 million deal. Cisco says the all-cash deal will enhance its existing wireless business. Navini is one of the main players in the WiMAX wireless broadband equipment market.
