Au! A nice surprise

KDDI has announced that average revenue per user (ARPU) at its mobile arm Au was higher than expected for the three months ended September 2003, though it declined to provide figures. KDDI announced last month that its number of 3G customers had exceeded ten million, widening the gap with NTT DoCoMo which claimed around a million.
