IP Direct planning African assault

Africa Ventures Partners has revealed plans to launch a new satellite venture to provide voice and data services across the African continent under the banner IP Direct. The South African-based company has secured financial backing from the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa and European satellite operator SES Astra and plans to launch services to Nigeria and Ghana before building base stations in ten further countries over the next two years.
