MobiNil board agree to apply for 3G concession

The Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (more commonly known as MobiNil) has announced that its Board of Directors has approved in principle an application for a 3G licence based on the terms and conditions discussed in a meeting held on 9 July Dr Tarek Kamel, Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology and Naguib Sawiris, Chairman of the cellco. The terms discussed have not yet been made publicly available.
