The Cloud launches City of London Wi-Fi network

European LAN provider The Cloud has announced the launch of its Wi-FI network in the City of London (aka The Square Mile), providing coverage to more than 350,000 people who live and work in the area. Free access for the first month will be provided in association with Nokia, allowing anyone with a Wi-Fi enabled device to go online. The network currently comprises 127 nodes and will be expanded to offer 95% coverage across areas owned by the City of London Corporation.
