MTC-Vodafone upgrades location-based applications

MTC-Vodafone Bahrain has upgraded its interactive location-based wireless services. Handset users can now receive driving directions from one point in Bahrain to another via SMS and MMS using directory service ‘M-Guide’. The upgraded service results from an agreement with GEOMATEC enabling access to frequent road information updates.
