Telecom launches online service

Telecom New Zealand has launched its new media joint venture Yahoo!Xtra. The venture, which was set up with Yahoo!7, will provide a range of online content and products. ‘Our goal is to deliver New Zealand internet users the finest entertainment, information and communications experience available,’ said Yahoo!Xtra chairman and interim CEO Ian Smith.
