3 Ireland upgrades entire network to HSDPA

Irish 3G operator Hutchison 3G Ireland says it completed the upgrade of its entire network to high speed broadband using HSDPA technology at the end of January. The operator’s network covers 85% of the population and will now offer 3 Ireland users download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps.
