Embarq offers combined wireline/wireless plan

US fixed line operator Embarq has launched a new all-in wireline/wireless calling plan which offers customers unlimited local and national fixed line calls and 350 wireless anytime minutes for USD74.90 a month excluding taxes. For another USD10 a month subscribers can double their inclusive wireless minutes to 700. The cellular service is provided under a partnership with Embarq's former parent Sprint Nextel. Rival operators such as AT&T and Verizon Communications already offer similar all-in packages.
