Fiat sells Brazilian telecoms unit to BT Group

The Italian car maker Fiat has sold its Brazilian telecoms unit Telexis Brasil to the British telecoms giant BT Group, writes AFX News. No financial details of the transaction were disclosed. The move follows BT’s recent acquisition of Fiat’s Polish telecoms subsidiary Telexis Polska for EUR1.2 million (USD1.55 million) as part of a EUR450 million outsourcing deal between BT and Fiat.
