Sprint searches with Microsoft

Sprint Nextel has teamed up with Microsoft Corp to offer a mobile search engine facility. Sprint has launched the Windows Live search bar over its mobile internet portal, allowing users to search for content or browse local listings. Microsoft and Sprint will share revenue from advertising which is placed on the screen alongside the search tool. Another search engine, Google, recently formed a similar alliance with Hong Kong-based Hutchison Whampoa to bring its search facility to Hutchison’s 3 mobile network.
