Thus puts UK ISP up for sale, papers say

UK-based alternative operator Thus Group has put the consumer unit of its ISP Demon UK up for sale, according to the Daily Telegraph. Analysts estimate the business, which has around 50,000 broadband customers, is worth between GBP15 million and GBP20 million (USD28 million-USD37 million). Thus has reportedly sent out an information memorandum to potential buyers, but is expected to retain Demon's corporate customers. In June Thus agreed to sell its Dutch ISP Demon Netherlands to KPN for EUR69 million (USD87 million).
