New mapping service from Vodafone Germany

Vodafone Germany has launched a new service, Mobile Earth, which allows users to view high resolution maps or aerial photos of anywhere in Germany via a Java-enabled handset. The application, which requires a single over-the-air download, will also give users information on 400,000 points of interest in the country and enable them to determine the best route between two addresses.
