Thai broadband operators to enhance services

Thai state-run telco TOT Corp has chosen Ericsson to deliver its Ethernet DSL Access (EDA) solution to enable it to provide its customers with broadband connections of up to 24Mbps. Under the agreement, Ericsson will provide TOT with a portfolio of services, which includes supply, delivery, installation, integration, staff training, testing and commissioning of its IP-MSAN for ADSL2+. Meanwhile, TOT’s private sector rival True Corp has chosen software from Motive to accelerate the deployment of broadband services and automate support for its high speed internet subscribers. Motive software will be used to manage True’s existing DSL services as well as next-generation offerings such as IPTV.
