Batelco reduces business internet rates, rolls out IP video calling

Bahrain’s Batelco has reduced the rates of its Inet internet service by up to 40%, TradeArabia reports. The service offers business clients dedicated online access at speeds of up to 100Mbps, via point-to-point data connections using local leased, LAN Connect or MPLS technologies. Batelco recently complemented its internet access services by launching a range of video telephony solutions for the corporate market in collaboration with a number of IP telephony vendors. The high speed video applications can operate over Batelco’s ADSL network or can be used in conjunction with its MPLS-based IP-VPN service.
