SLT nears metro Ethernet goal
Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) is nearing its target of connecting 100 buildings in central Colombo with a fibre-optic metro Ethernet network. SLT General Manager S.K. Lal Ranjith said that 80 buildings in the city have been connected so far, and he expects the LKR200 million (USD2 million) project to be completed by the end of the year.
