Broadband accounts for 70% of UK internet connections
Broadband accesses accounted for nearly 70% of all internet connections in the UK at the end of the first quarter, according to a new report from the country’s National Statistics Office (NSA). In its Internet Connectivity report, which surveyed internet service providers, the NSA said that broadband lines represented 69.2% of all internet connections at the end of March 2006, up from 65.1% at December 2005.
